Custodian

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Be able to read, speak, and understand English.

Must be able to receive clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATFE).

Complete Bloodborne Pathogen Training.

Must be able to safely operate various types of custodial related equipment.

Must have a general knowledge of all safety work rules and practices.

Must hold a valid state driver's license.

Must be able to report to work on weekends, day, or night during inclement weather events.

Must be able to perform duties at various locations of facility and other facilities, which may require use of personal or Company vehicle.

Be able to work with minimal supervision.

Be able to work and communicate well with others.

Be able to work all overtime as required.

JOB DUTIES: Assigned specific duties based on shift hours worked.

Perform cleaning tasks and operation of various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain assigned buildings and related facilities.

Cleaning duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping; mopping; buffing floors; vacuuming and spot cleaning carpeted areas; dusting furniture, woodwork, fixtures and equipment; washing windows and walls; emptying and cleaning waste receptacles; cleaning and maintaining supplies in restrooms, Change House and break room; picking up refuse on grounds of facility and shoveling snow and salting, if required.

Maintain Small and Large Scale Test sites after testing.

Maintain Recycling containers throughout entire facility.

Drive Company vehicle necessary for completion of work assignments as needed.

Clean Time Clocks keypads with alcohol wipes on a daily basis.

Assist in moving and arranging furniture, if required.

Assist in setting up / taking down of table and chairs for special meetings and events.

Maintain custodial supplies performing a weekly inventory.

Notify Purchasing Department of supplies needed on a weekly basis.

Maintain a clean and orderly stock area.

Responsible for communicating with Supervisor, or designee, if leaving assigned area so that proper notification can be made in the case of an emergency.

Must be safety focused ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.

Obey all company work and safety rules.

Must be committed to ISO and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based thinking methodologies.

Share accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor or other member of management.
