RN House Supervisor

Kansas Medical Center is adding 1st and 2nd shift RN Clinical Coordinators to orchestrate hospital-wide patient flow, manage staffing ratios across nursing departments, and serve as a resource for nursing staff.

The Clinical Coordinator needs exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills, can easily multi-task; requires the ability to remain calm and provide direction and instruction when faced with challenges.

The Clinical Coordinator does not supervisory or managerial duties.

Responsibilities include: Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers; adjust nursing staff assignments and reallocate personnel based on unit acuity; assist bedside staff, address equipment failures, and interdepartmental bottlenecks.

Assist with bedside nursing as needed.

Position provides 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays.
