Machine Operator I - ENCAPSULATION

TheEncapsulation Machine Operator-Apprentice is responsible for processing blends into filled capsule form according to written instructions and compliance with cGMPs, SOPs and the work order under supervision.

Essential Duties Read work orders to determine production specifications or information for capsule creation.

Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the encapsulation process, including but not limited to; room and equipment cleanliness, machinery setup, product verification (before, during, and after product run).

Verifies that proper documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed.

Weigh or measure materials, or products to ensure conformance to requirements set by the work order.

Accountable for the quality of the product that is produced.

Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the current process.

Follow all SOPs and cGMP requirements.Participate in all applicable safety and food safety training and wear proper personal protective equipment as needed.Maintain a clean workspace by assisting in housekeeping duties to minimize food safety risks.Disassemble, wash, sanitize, and dry tooling and any encapsulation equipment.Clean and or wash encapsulation room Able to lift 50 pounds.Use material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks.Willing to work overtime as necessary.Other duties may be assigned.
