Senior Analyst, HR Lakehouse / Medallion Engineer

Location: India - Bangalore (On-site/Hybrid)
Reports to: IT Director, D&I Program Leader
Department: Johnson & Johnson Technology - Corporate Business Technology (CBT)

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst will support the day-to-day operations of the HR2030 Medallion lakehouse, helping ensure reliable data ingestion, processing, and availability across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

This hands-on role will monitor scheduled pipelines, investigate failures and data-quality issues, execute approved recovery and maintenance activities, and coordinate timely resolution with engineering, platform, source-system, and data-product teams.

The successful candidate will combine technical troubleshooting skills with disciplined operational practices, clear communication, and a strong focus on data reliability, security, and continuous improvement in a global support environment.
Key Responsibilities


* Daily operations monitoring: Monitor Medallion pipeline schedules, execution status, dependencies, and data freshness across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers; identify missed loads, delays, and processing failures.


* Incident triage and recovery: Investigate alerts and operational incidents using logs and data checks; execute approved reruns, restarts, and recovery procedures, validate results, and escalate unresolved issues against agreed service targets.


* Data-quality checks and reconciliation: Perform routine completeness, accuracy, duplication, and source-to-target reconciliation checks; log exceptions, coordinate remediation, and confirm data readiness for downstream consumption.


* Service requests and maintenance: Manage the daily support queue, prioritize requests by business impact, and perform approved data reloads, backfills, and routine maintenance following established controls and runbooks.
