Pay: $18-$19 per hour
Schedule: 24-32 hours per week
Shifts Available: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 11:00 AM-7:00 PM

Rossmoor Post Acute is looking for a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team! If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming, we would love to hear from you.

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Your work helps support resident health, safety, and overall quality of life in our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities


* Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas.


* Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility.


* Dust and clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, handrails, and other surfaces.


* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.


* Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to help maintain a healthy environment.


* Follow established infection control procedures and facility cleaning standards.


* Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and according to instructions.


* Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas.


* Follow safety procedures, including placing caution signs when floors are wet and storing cleaning chemicals properly.


* Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or resident concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.


* Notify the Director of Housekeeping when cleaning supplies need replenishment.


* Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, staff, and visitors.


* Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.


* Work independently and collaboratively to maintain facility cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications


* Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.


* Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.


* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


* Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.


* Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, comfortable environment.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Compassionate and respectful approach when working around residents.

Pay and Schedule


* $18-$19 per hour, depending on experience.


* Full-time opportunity with approximately 24-32 hours per week.


* Available shifts:Morning: 9:00 AM-5:00 PMMidday: 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
