About This Role...

The Production Associate / Machine Operator plays a key role in the manufacturing of steel building and roofing components for Gideon Steel Panel Company, a Gibraltar company.

This position supports production operations by operating equipment, moving materials, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The role contributes directly to product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence by embracing GSPC's commitment to zero defects, doing it right the first time, and treating customers and coworkers with respect.

Success in this position requires a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

What You'll Do


* Operate manufacturing equipment used in the fabrication of steel building and roofing components.


* Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and finished goods throughout the facility.


* Pick inventory and prepare materials to fulfill customer and production orders.


* Support production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


* Inspect materials and products to help ensure quality standards are met.


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.


* Follow work instructions, production schedules, and supervisor direction to meet operational goals.


* Assist with general warehouse, inventory, and facility support duties as needed.


* Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Ability to read and use a tape measure.


* Forklift experience.
