Senior Data Scientist - TS/SCI Clearance Required

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team as a Project Data Management Engineer III and help public-sector clients use data, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) to address mission needs.

You will apply Python, data engineering, and data science methods to develop and operationalize data-driven solutions for a client-site engagement in Tampa, Florida.

Working alongside multidisciplinary professionals, you will help modernize technology platforms, improve operations, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Work you'll do

As a Project Data Management Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for:


* Develop, test, and deploy data science and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) solutions that support government mission objectives.


* Build Python-based data processing pipelines and workflows for raw and structured datasets.


* Analyze data quality, model performance, and solution results to inform implementation decisions.


* Collaborate with data engineers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to translate analytical needs into technical requirements.


* Document methods, models, data sources, and results to support solution delivery and operational use.

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree


* 5+ years of experience in data science, including artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), Python, raw data processing, and data engineering


* Active TS/SCI security clearance required


* You can expect to co-locate on average 5 times a week in Tampa, Florida
