Operations Dispatcher

Pay Rate: $23.70 per hour

Shift Start Time: 8:30 AM

Duties for this specific dispatching role will include:

Responsibilities


* Ensure compliance with all company policy over three Loomis operations (Hempstead and Manhattan)


* Work closely with operations staff on timeliness and accuracy of monthly commitments and reports.


* Report directly to upper management any discrepancies or violations of company policy


* Works with corporate risk managers to prepare for internal audit (s)


* Assist branch operations staff with various tasks as they arise


* Assist with security and safety procedures as it relates to the branch


* Assist customers if tasked to correct problems


* Other duties as assigned by management to include but limited to assisting key management personnel with daily tasks not listed above

Requirements


* At least 21 years of age


* Ability to work different shifts if needed


* A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements preferred but not required


* College degree and background in accounting/logistics preferred but not required

*Loomis will pay for security and firearms qualifications, licensing and permitting

Working Conditions:


* Full-time schedule potentially consists of an average of 40 to 50 hours/week, with minimum of 5 days


* Majority of the work will be in an office setting but will require local travel and some work outside of office ensuring compliance including trips to NYC office

Skills And Qualifications:


* Ability to work well individually as well as being a team player with a positive attitude


* Ability to identify and maintain confidential matters in all aspects of the business


* Courteous and professional communications skills, demonstrate good work ethics in a professional manner to fellow employees and customers


* Follow verbal and written instructions


* Computer experience, proficient use of MS Office to include Excel, ability to use office equipment not limited to computers, fax and copy machine


* Data entry skills


* Unrestricted wrist, hand and finger dexterity


* Unrestricted ability to bend, squat, stoop, stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), sit, push and pull


* Accuracy and speed sufficient to meet the company policy for debriefing
