Mig Welder

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.

Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions 2.

Operate MIG welder to weld cabinets, doors, floors, etc.

Utilize appropriate welding techniques 4.

Measure material accurately and read scale 5.

Required to wear PPE 6.

Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards 7.

Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor/lead and assist in resolutions as required 9.

Read and interpret basic blue prints to determine the specific welding requirements Move cabinets on transfer table, unload, weld and reload all doors on door cartsOperate other necessary equipment and performing tasks necessary to complete parts to specificationsPerform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this positionKeep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilitiesDesire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethicFollow all company rules and policies
