Technical Training Specialist

The Technical Training Specialist will conduct classroom/field safety and technical training programs in accordance with OSHA compliance, industry-specific regulations and company-specific policies and procedures.

Also, will assist in the development and instruction of the Line Technician Apprentice Training program, all technical training and refresher training programs for the Cooperative Trades and Crafts personnel.

Will also assist the Manager with conducting crew/employee safety audits; accident/incident investigations, as needed; and administering Safety and Health training programs.

This position will also assist with the Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program (RESAP) to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations by occasionally conducting monthly inspections of vehicles, tools, facilities, substations, and monitoring housekeeping standards.
