Clinical Assistant

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Clinical Assistant to provide exceptional support to our dentists and dental hygienists in a dental practice or clinic.

This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of dental procedures and delivering high-quality patient care.

The Dental Clinical Assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our practice.

Responsibilities: Assist the dentist or dental hygienist during dental procedures ensuring patient care and procedural efficiency.Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials for use during procedures, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.Set up dental trays with the necessary instruments and materials for each procedure, ensuring readiness and organization.Take patient histories and update medical records accurately, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date patient information.Prepare and maintain dental equipment and treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and functional workspace.Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.Provide post-operative instructions to patients after dental procedures, ensuring they understand and comply with care recommendations.Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring availability and proper stock levels.Schedule appointments and maintain patient records, optimizing patient flow and clinic operations.Provide administrative support, such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and managing patient inquiries, contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice.
