We are searching for the best talent for [Senior Director, Head of New Business Development, Japan (including Immunology)].

Purpose:

Lead the Japan New Business Development team and priorities across global external innovation, portfolio optimization and Alliance Management.

You will be responsible for:


* Execute and communicate the Japan New Business Development strategy and annual priorities aligned with AP and local strategy.


* Advise the Japan President and local leadership on global external innovation, partnerships, portfolio optimization and alliances.


* Ensure an integrated market perspective across NBD, portfolio optimization and Alliance Management and allocate resources to the highest-value priorities.


* Sponsor participation in priority global NBD assessments and ensure high-quality inputs, forecasts, recommendations and endorsements.


* Ensure a clear "One AP" voice is delivered across all inputs to global innovation projects, integrating Japan and broader AP assumptions, ambition and critical needs so opportunities are fit for purpose for Japan and AP.


* Sponsor systematic local portfolio opportunity identification and alignment with AP priorities and ensure high-quality inputs, forecasts, recommendations and endorsements.


* Sponsor the market alliance portfolio and review governance, risks, resources and value realization.


* Implement AP governance standards, decision rights, documentation and operating cadence.
