Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team on the part-time shift.

What You'll Do

As a CNA, you will provide daily nursing care and assistance in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan and facility policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and personal hygiene.


* Help residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and transportation using appropriate equipment.


* Answer call lights promptly and ensure residents' comfort, safety, and personal needs are met.


* Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respirations, as directed.


* Assist residents with meals and hydration, record food and fluid intake, and report changes in eating habits.


* Observe residents for changes in condition, skin breakdown, injuries, or other concerns and promptly notify the nursing supervisor.


* Maintain clean, comfortable beds and living areas, changing linens and clothing as needed.


* Assist with admissions, room transfers, and discharges as assigned.


* Follow infection control procedures and established safety protocols.


* Maintain accurate documentation and protect residents' confidential health information.


* Report accidents, incidents, suspected abuse, and safety concerns promptly.


* Treat every resident with dignity, respect, compassion, and patience.


* Collaborate with nurses and other facility team members to provide quality resident care.

Qualifications


* Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
