Senior Financial Analyst - Operations Finance
Your Job
Molex is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance to help support the rapid expansion of our Connectivity business within the Optical Solutions Business Unit.
This is not a traditional reporting-focused FP&A role.
You'll work directly with leaders across operations, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and engineering, using financial and operational data to help the business make better decisions as we expand capacity, manage inventory, support customer demand and scale globally.
We're looking for someone curious enough to dig into an operational problem, build the analysis, challenge assumptions and translate the findings into a recommendation business leaders can act on.
Our Team
The Connectivity segment is part of Molex's rapidly growing Optical Solutions Business Unit (OSBU), helping deliver innovative connectivity solutions that power some of the world's most advanced industries.
With continued investment and expansion across the business, this is an exciting time to make a meaningful impact and help shape the future of the organization.
Our culture values continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and principled entrepreneurship, empowering each team member to contribute to meaningful outcomes that drive operational excellence.
What You Will Do
* Serve as a finance business partner to leaders across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, commercial and engineering teams.
* Turn financial and operational data into recommendations that help leaders make decisions around growth, capacity, inventory, demand and profitability.
* Partner with supply chain and operations teams to improve visibility to inventory, demand planning and working capital, including opportunities to better align raw-material investments with customer demand.
* Evaluate customer opportunities, new programs, capacity expansions and strategic investments through scenario modeling and financial analysis.
* Analyze manufacturing performance, including production costs, labor, material usage, yields, productivity and manufacturing variances, and connect the results to actions the business can take.
* Develop models and business scenarios to evaluate risks, opportunities and trade-offs.
* Partner with commercial teams on revenue, margin, customer and profitability analysis.
* Work directly with business leaders to understand what is happening operationally behind the financial results and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
* Lead analytical and ad hoc projects with a high degree of independence.
* Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial analysis, reporting and decision support.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
* Progressive experience in finance, FP&A, operations finance, manufacturing finance or comparable analytical experience.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills...
