voco Grand Central Hotel are looking for our next Full-Time Food & Beverage Server to join us in creating a warm voco welcome for our guests!

Our locally curated voco Grand Central stands strong in Glasgow’s city centre, bringing together un-stuffy service and a warm Glasgow welcome to our business and leisure guests alike.

Holding the biggest ballroom in Scotland with natural light and our iconic award-winning Champagne Central Bar, our Hotel is full of over 140 years of culture, history and storytelling with our relaxing spaces for guests to enjoy.

As a Food & Beverage Server, you’ll be an integral part of our Champagne Bar team, delivering an exceptional and memorable experience for every guest.

Working on the floor, you’ll provide attentive, personalised service, taking pride in your knowledge of our Champagne, beverage and food offerings, while ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued and well looked after throughout their visit.

Your role will involve taking orders, serving Champagne, wines, cocktails and other beverages, as well as food, ensuring everything is presented and delivered to the highest standards.

You’ll engage confidently with guests, make recommendations, respond to queries and handle any feedback professionally, always maintaining a warm and positive approach.

Working closely with the wider Food & Beverage team, you’ll help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere, maintain excellent service standards and ensure the Champagne Bar is always presented beautifully.

You’ll take pride in the finer details, anticipate guest needs and contribute to a seamless service that reflects the quality and character of our hotel.

We are looking for someone who has… 


* Availability to work a variety of shifts including late nights and weekends.


* Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Server, Waiter/Waitress, or Host 


* An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service.

You will be someone who enjoys showcasing your personality and your ability to be a host to our guests, providing them with a laid-back stay 


* An interest in our environment and sustainability – we are characterised by innovation and finding ways to become more sustainable 


* Overall, ready to work in our voco team and provide our guests with a warm Glasgow welcome!

Being a host at voco, we offer you the following benefits…


* Financial security – £13.16 per hour (£27,372.80 per annum FTE), guaranteed hours, paid overtime, a free meal on shift, paid holidays, and enhanced sick pay! Plus Tronc paid monthly if in eligible role.
