AI Software Engineer III

As a Software Engineer III, you will deliver end-to-end full-stack capabilities and own key components and services.

Working with cross-functional stakeholders, you will help lead team design and quality practices, support production stability, and evolve the platform.

Key Responsibilities



* Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.



* Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation



* Own design and delivery for full-stack features (Java/Spring Boot + React/Angular).



* Build resilient services and integrations (Kafka/ eventing , downstream dependencies).



* Drive engineering quality through reviews, automation, test strategy, and CI/CD improvements.



* Improve production readiness (monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks) and reduce recurring incidents.



* Mentor engineers and help standardize best practices across the squad.

Required Qualifications



* Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.



* Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices.



* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.



* StrongJava and Spring BootandReact/Angularfull-stack delivery.



* Experience developingKafkaproducers/consumers in Java



* Experience with SQL databases such as Aurora - Postgres or equivalent with data modelling, query optimization and performance tuning.



* NoSQL experience:Cassandra / DynamoDB / Elastic Search(modeling + performance).



* Hands-onCloud Foundry/AWSand building/maintainingCI/CD pipelines.



* Strong quality mindset, including TDD, automation, design and code reviews, and engineering mentorship.



* Ability to work with tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana for observability and monitoring



* Experience building applications with resilient, highly available architectures, including consideration for failure modes, recovery, and operational readiness.
