About the Opportunity

We're seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead and develop our Inside Sales team in Anchorage, Alaska.

This newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and help shape the future of our retail sales operations within a respected Caterpillar dealership organization aligned with Harnish Group Inc.

This position is ideal for a motivated sales leader who enjoys coaching teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities



* Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives.


* Drive sales growth and customer satisfaction across Alaska's equipment market.


* Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.


* Partner with leadership to support sales initiatives, business planning, and budgeting.


* Collaborate across departments to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.


* Ensure team objectives align with dealership and manufacturer goals.

Qualifications



* Experience leading sales, retail, or operational teams.


* Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.


* Strong background in sales performance management and customer relationship building.


* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


* Ability to analyze business metrics and identify growth opportunities.


* Experience in heavy equipment, construction, industrial products, transportation, or B2B sales preferred.


* Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
