Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and other items safely and securely.

Drivers arerequired to operate machinery in line with health and safety regulations and to ensure that allgoods are moved and loaded and unloaded without damage.

Skills & Abilities Maneuvering forklift safely in a busy warehouse environmentSafely stack and unstack pallets of goods onto shelves and floorsMove goods from pallet and floor storage to loading areas for transportUse industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods fortransportAbility to drive the box truck and pickup truck in between warehouses and storesPick up and deliver company products within the valleyRegularly take dump trailer to a landfillAbility to load and unload trucksIdentify damages and report shortages or quality deficienciesInspect machinery and make Warehouse Manager aware of issuesAbility to correctly use technology to properly track movement of goods with inventorysystemAttention to detail and familiar with industrial equipmentCurrent certificate to operate forkliftsAbility to stand for long periods of time while operating forkliftAbility to lift 50lbs Additional Information: Pay is $20 to $23 an hourFull-time schedule Must be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT medical card) prior to start date and maintain it throughout employment.Insurance benefits are available for eligible full-time employees.
