Bridgerland Technical College (BTECH) is seeking a Full-Time Interior Design Instructor to join our team in Logan, Utah.

What You'll Do As an Interior Design Instructor, you'll create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for careers in the interior design industry.

In this role, you will: Plan and deliver competency-based instruction aligned with approved curriculum and industry standards.

Teach interior design principles, including space planning, color theory, materials, textiles, and design concepts.

Provide hands-on instruction using industry-standard design software and digital visualization tools.

Guide students in developing floor plans, technical drawings, and design presentations.

Develop and maintain curriculum materials that reflect current industry trends and technologies.

Assess student progress and provide individualized coaching, mentoring, and support.

Maintain accurate student records, grades, and competency documentation.

Foster a safe, organized, creative, and student-focused learning environment.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and industry partners to support student success and program improvement.

Participate in program planning, advisory committees, and student recruitment activities.

What We're Looking For We're looking for a creative, knowledgeable interior design professional who enjoys sharing their expertise and helping students succeed.

Preferred education and experience qualifications include one of the following: Bachelor's degree with at least one year of related experience; Technical college certificate with at least one year of industry experience; or High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of industry experience.

Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and technical skills, along with a commitment to professionalism and student success.

Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
