Certified Medical Asst/LPN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare patients chart for appointments in advance to ensure patient returns in the proper timeframe, required testing for appointment has been completed, compliance with equipment utilization timeframe, and authorization for appointment are on file, if applicable Lead patients to the exam room and confirm vitals are taken; review current medications and document for correct dosages; ensure past medical history, allergies, surgeries, hospitalizations, family history, and smoking history are recordedEnsure medication or test orders are placed for discharging patients, review new medications with patient and / or administrator medications or vaccinations prescribed by the physician, educate patient on treatments and answer any inquiries Address sick/urgent call in a timely manner Complete prescription refills Perform Spirometry, Ex Ox, Simple Stress Test, EKG, and FeNO testingOther duties and special projects as assigned Job Location We currently have offices in Dayton, Centerville and Troy and Springfield.

While you may primarily be assigned to one location all staff may be required to perform this role at any of the locations depending on staffing needs.
