Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager - IGT

Basic Qualifications:


* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.


* 5 years related maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.


* 3 years management experience in a manufacturing plant.


* This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S.

person status.

ITAR defines U.S.

person as an U.S.

Citizen, U.S.

Permanent Resident (i.e.

'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.


* Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.


* Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and to present organized information to managers, customers and colleagues.


* Ability to effectively supervise and manage others.


* Hands-on Self-starter, exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.


* Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS systems, report writing);


* May need to occasionally work flexible hours including night and weekends with little advanced notice.

Job Summary

The high-profile position will apply Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement initiatives to manage the physical infrastructure of the plant and its equipment.

This includes the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, safety, and protection of the physical facilities and equipment used to manufacture technologically sophisticated products.
