Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team!

Position Responsibilities

As a valued member of our Environmental Services team, you will:


* Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.


* Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furnishings.


* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility.


* Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain organized storage areas.


* Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures.


* Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns promptly.


* Assist with linen distribution and laundry duties as needed.


* Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.


* Complete special cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Previous housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, hospital, or hospitality setting preferred, but not required.


* Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and infection control practices is a plus.


* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift.
