Senior Estimator

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Estimating & Bid Management Prepare accurate material takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive bids based on construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Develop comprehensive proposals for both competitive and negotiated projects.

Participate in pre-bid job walks, scope reviews, bid meetings, and post-bid follow-ups.

Evaluate and prepare pricing for change orders and additional work.

Review labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Project Coordination & Collaboration Coordinate the successful handoff of awarded projects to Project Managers and Field Superintendents, ensuring a clear understanding of project scope, budget, and expectations.

Collaborate with project teams to support projects being completed on time, within budget, and right the first time.

Identify potential project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities during the estimating process.

Business Development & Leadership Develop and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.

Support business development efforts and contribute to meeting or exceeding company sales and estimating goals.

Lead, mentor, and support estimating team members or direct reports, as applicable.

Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across departments.
