Training & Development Specialist

The Training & Development Specialist leads hands-on training and onboarding for retail team members across Edgeless Beauty Group's brands.

This role owns New Hire Orientation Week, builds and delivers training on service standards, systems and product knowledge, and partners with leadership to support retail hiring and team member development.

What You'll Do Lead and facilitate New Hire Orientation Week for retail team members, including planning, scheduling, materials and facilitator coordination Design and deliver engaging, hands-on training on service standards, systems and product knowledge Develop and update training materials, guides and resources across brands Own the education and training calendar across all EBG brands Track training completion and onboarding progress in UKG, and report on results to leadership Serve as the go-to resource for new hires during their first weeks, creating a welcoming and supportive onboarding experience Partner with brand leaders to identify training needs and close skill gaps Support retail hiring efforts in partnership with HR and brand leadership Communicate training updates and schedule changes to team members and leadership Maintain accurate training records and documentation Lead special training and development projects Other duties as assigned What You Bring 2+ years of experience in training, education, coaching or onboarding Experience in beauty, salon, spa or retail training preferred Confident presenter who enjoys engaging and energizing groups Ability to create training materials and adapt them for different audiences Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with UKG or another HRIS/LMS is a plus Self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities across locations A genuine passion for helping others learn and grow Why You'll Love It Here Full Benefits Opportunity to shape training across multiple well-known beauty and wellness brands Employee discounts on services and products A supportive, mission-driven team culture Work Environment Fast-paced, guest-facing environment across multiple locations Ability to sit and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Travel between EBG locations required
