Wind Turbine Service Technician ABOUT THE ROLE SANY America is hiring a Wind Turbine Service Technician to inspect, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wind turbines at assigned wind farm locations in Ralls, TX; Idalou, TX; and Huerfano, CO.

Each technician helps maximize turbine availability, restore equipment following unplanned shutdowns, and maintain safe and reliable electrical generation.

Specific site assignments will be determined based on operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Turbine Inspection, Maintenance & Repair • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, fastener torque checks, component replacement, and corrective repairs on wind turbines, including nacelles, hubs, rotors, and towers.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, braking, electrical, electronic, and control-system malfunctions using diagnostic software, drawings, test equipment, and appropriate tools.

• Inspect tower structures and turbine components; report abnormalities, document findings, and complete repairs or escalate complex problems.

Electrical Systems & Field Operations • Test generators, control cabinets, sensors, communications, and related electrical systems; support approved work on transmission, substation, or fiber-optic systems when appropriately trained and authorized.

• Respond to turbine alarms and outages, analyze operating data and fault codes, and support return-to-service testing and verification.

• Coordinate crane-assisted component work and contractor activities as assigned, following site procedures and authorization requirements.

Safety & Compliance • Follow all site safety rules, energy-isolation and lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety requirements, rescue plans, and manufacturer instructions.

• Use properly inspected fall-protection equipment and required PPE; follow approved procedures for working at heights, in confined spaces, and in changing weather conditions.

• Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and equipment defects promptly; participate in safety briefings and required training.

Documentation, Inventory & Team Coordination • Complete accurate work orders, service reports, inspection checklists, fault records, and maintenance histories in company systems.

• Monitor spare parts and tools, request replenishment, maintain organized site inventories, and support daily site operations.

• Communicate effectively with site leadership, remote monitoring teams, engineering, customers, and other technicians; support continuous improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent.
