Job Summary

The purpose of the Shipping Associate/Paker is to ensures safe and accurate packing/skidding of outbound orders to arrive at our customer in a quality condition.

Shipping Associate/Packer is accountable for the execution and accuracy of the order picking and packing process through completion.

Job Responsibilities



* Generate and distribute Pick Lists to Pick team


* Ensure correct product is picked and document accordingly


* Check quality of product and report findings to Lead, Supervisor or QC if necessary


* Select proper packaging materials


* Pack product to ensure safe transit to deliver in a quality condition


* Weigh shipment


* Provides necessary documentation to Shipping Clerk for processing


* Generate and ensure accurate application of all required skid/pallet labeling for shipment

Job Requirements



* High School Diploma or equivalent


* Basic reading and math skills.

Must be able to follow directions


* Exercises independent initiative/judgement in work methods


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation



* The hourly pay rate is $17.00/hr + $1.50/hr shift differnential
