Position Overview

The Head of Solutions, Radiation Oncology Solutions (ROS) R&D is responsible for defining and driving the technology vision, solution architecture, and engineering strategy for integrated radiotherapy solutions across the ROS portfolio.

This leader brings together capabilities across systems engineering, solution architecture, engineering leadership, and technology strategy to enable differentiated, scalable solutions spanning treatment planning, treatment management, imaging, treatment delivery, and supporting technologies.

This role combines strategic technology leadership, engineering execution, and people leadership, ensuring that clinical and customer needs are translated into integrated solutions while building a high-performing organization positioned to deliver both current and future portfolio priorities.

Key Responsibilities


* Define and execute the end-to-end technology and solutions strategy for ROS, aligning clinical needs, portfolio priorities, architecture, and engineering execution.


* Lead the ROS R&D technology roadmap, identifying critical technologies, platforms, capabilities, and architectural investments required to enable future solutions.


* Drive innovation and integration across treatment planning, treatment management, imaging, treatment delivery, and quality assurance to enhance patient and clinician experiences, streamline workflows, improve quality of care, and support greater access to care.


* Provide leadership for systems engineering and solution architecture, establishing technical direction, architectural principles, system-level requirements, and effective technical governance.


* Drive a solutions-oriented engineering approach across ROS, identifying opportunities to leverage common technologies, platforms, architectures, and engineering capabilities across the portfolio.


* Provide senior engineering leadership across strategic portfolio programs, managing technical risks and dependencies while driving on-time delivery, high product quality, and optimized total cost of ownership.


* Partner closely with Product & Portfolio Management, clinical stakeholders, Regulatory & Quality, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional partners to translate customer and business needs into integrated technical solutions.
