We are searching for the best talent for a Manager, Production Planning .

This position is fully on-site and is located in Jacksonville, FL .

The Planning Manager is responsible for managing production to optimize the use of resources and meet production schedules and standards at the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Vision organization in support of IOL manufacturing activities.

Plans and controls production schedules and coordinating with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.

Estimates and schedules the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process.

Researches, evaluates, and recommends changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance the organization's production capabilities.

Contributes to the Production Planning team as an individual contributor who is a developing subject matter expert.

Works independently with minimal supervision and represents planning within the site leadership decision making process to drive business needs.

Consults on projects, programs, and processes that span multiple related areas in support of the organization's overall supply chain/production strategy.

Applies in-depth knowledge of the Production Planning and Materials Planning field to install best of class policies, procedures, and plans for the site.
