ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Internship Program is a prestigious, cohort-based experience that attracts top talent from across the country for paid, full-time summer internships spanning majors and functional areas – from economic research and finance to Cash Services, IT, and beyond.

While interns take on a specific functional role for the summer with meaningful work and opportunities to grow, the program offers much more than a single assignment.

Dedicated staff mentors help launch your career, and curated cohort programming provides broad exposure to central banking, direct access to senior leaders and industry experts, and dedicated learning and development opportunities.

As part of the Federal Reserve System, you'll also build a professional network of peers that spans the nation.

The program runs approximately for 10-12 weeks, beginning in mid-to-late May and concluding in August.

ABOUT YOUR TEAM:

Banking Supervision is responsible for supervising and regulating certain segments of the financial industry to ensure they employ safe and sound business practices and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Supervisory Risk, Policy, and Surveillance team is charged with identifying emerging risks, performing specialty examination work, and developing and maintaining quantitative models to support Federal Reserve System supervisory decision making as well as monitoring of risk at financial institutions in the district and nation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:



* Support and conduct analysis on bank trends to identify concerns



* Work with interesting structured and unstructured datasets to conduct fundamental research



* Assist with the creation of risk dashboards to be used for quarterly monitoring of local and national bank trends
