NHC HealthCare Lewisburg is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA Instructor / Staff Development Nurse to join our team!

Position Responsibilities


* Provide classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training for CNA students.


* Prepare students for the Tennessee CNA state certification examination.


* Teach safe, compassionate, and person-centered resident care practices.


* Develop and deliver educational materials that support student learning and clinical competency.


* Evaluate student progress, assess clinical skills, and provide constructive feedback.


* Mentor, coach, and encourage students throughout their training.


* Assist with staff development and ongoing educational initiatives as assigned.


* Promote compliance with applicable nursing standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.


* Model NHC's mission, vision, and values in all educational and clinical activities.

Qualifications


* Current, active Tennessee RN or LPN license required.


* Clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting.


* Strong knowledge of nursing practices, resident care standards, and clinical procedures.


* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to effectively teach, mentor, and evaluate students.


* Previous teaching, training, or staff development experience preferred but not required.


* Passion for developing future caregivers and serving the geriatric population.


* Must meet applicable Tennessee requirements for CNA instructors.
