Architect

Summary/Objective The Architect will oversee various projects from initial design through construction phase.

Responsibilities Plans, designs and manages substantial new construction, renovation and improvement projectsDirect preparation of Revit design/construction documents and layouts for the development of drawings by others and review completed drawings for technical adequacy and completenessCollaborate with project team members integrating elements with architecture and other engineering systems to meet design schedulesComplete projects within budget while meeting company expectationsEnsure deliverables meet set milestones and quality standardsRepresent the company in client facing situationsDevelop and establish project definition.Prepare and manage proposals, budgets, scopes and schedules for projects.Establish a project team including organizational structure, work breakdown structure, and communication plan.Manage design, permitting and regulatory agency coordination.Resolve project related conflicts.Oversee QA/QC process and RFI process.Project file maintenance and project closeout process.

Preferred Education and Experience Degree in Architecture.Three-Five years professional experience in architectural design.Proficient in AutoCAD.Competency in REVIT.Working knowledge of current construction materials and methods.
