Seasonal Bartender

Seasonal Bartender Brickmans at The Links is the property's main restaurant, serving both The Links and the Lakehouse Hotel.

We are seeking a Seasonal Bartender to join our team during the holiday season, when our property comes alive with winter events, festive gatherings, and holiday celebrations.

In this role, you will provide warm and attentive hospitality to guests in the bar area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the spirit of the season.

Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, efficiently preparing and serving beverages, and taking food and drink orders from bar guests.

The ideal candidate will bring energy, professionalism, and a knack for upselling seasonal offerings to elevate each guest's holiday experience.

The duties of a Seasonal Bartender include, but are not limited to, the following: Greet guests with a warm welcome and a fond farewell; engage them in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

· Provide exceptional guest hospitality and service to ensure guests enjoy their experience.

· Learn and maintain expert knowledge of the food, wine, and beverage menus, along with general restaurant/property knowledge; able to answer guest questions and provide recommendations.

· Follow all steps of service as defined by company SOPs.

· Take guest food and/or beverage orders, input orders into point-of-sale (POS) system.

· Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensure charges are accurate and maintain a balanced cash bank.

· Suggestively upsell menu items, specials, beverages, and desserts to enhance profitability.

· Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and offering customized beverage recommendations.

· Familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment and sanitation standards with the focus on maintaining a clean and attractive bar.

· Address and resolve any guest complaints; notify management ASAP about any unresolved guest complaints that they need to handle.

· Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and company guidelines.

· Always maintain a composed and professional attitude.

· Become familiar with all returning guests, know their preferences and special requests.

· Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.
