The Role: Technical Service Operations Intern

What will you do?

To support Service Operations through technical analysis, engineering support, field service exposure, and continuous improvement initiatives across Power Systems, Secure Power, and Energy Management.

The role provides practical exposure to Schneider Electric's technologies, service activities, and customer applications while developing technical competencies and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Engineering Support


* Assist technical teams in reviewing equipment specifications, technical drawings, and service documentation.


* Support troubleshooting activities, technical investigations, and root cause analysis (RCA).


* Assist in preparing technical reports, equipment assessments, and engineering recommendations.


* Participate in technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with experienced Service Representatives (SRs).

Cross-Segment Technical Exposure
Power Systems (PS)

+ Support technical activities related to MV/LV electrical distribution equipment, switchgear, and protection systems.
+ Assist in reviewing testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance results.

Secure Power (SP)


*
+ Gain technical exposure to UPS, cooling systems, batteries, and critical power infrastructure.
+ Support equipment performance analysis, maintenance assessments, and troubleshooting documentation.

Energy Management (EM)

+ Support technical activities involving energy monitoring, power quality, digital systems, and automation solutions.
+ Assist in analyzing energy performance data and identifying potential improvement opportunities.

Field Service & Project Support


* Assist SRs and Technical Team Leaders in technical preparation and post-service reporting.


* Support the review of technical findings and follow-up actions from field service activities.

Technical Analysis & Continuous Improvement


* Analyze equipment performance, service findings, and recurring technical issues.


* Develop simple technical dashboards, analytical reports, or digital tools to improve service effectiveness.
