Surgery & Procedure Scheduler

Precision Spine Care | Tyler, TX Precision Spine Care is seeking an experienced, highly organized Surgery & Procedure Scheduler to join our Tyler team! We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of high-volume scheduling, and demonstrates the initiative to keep patient care and clinical operations moving efficiently.

What You'll Do Independently manage high-volume scheduling of interventional pain procedures, surgeries, diagnostic testing, and related treatments.Proactively manage pending orders, scheduling opportunities, and cancellations to maximize physician and surgical facility utilization.Coordinate with physicians, clinical teams, facilities, and patients to ensure timely and efficient scheduling.Obtain and track insurance authorizations, verify procedure requirements, and complete necessary documentation.Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, authorization delays, and other barriers to timely patient care.Communicate scheduling details, preoperative instructions, and financial responsibilities to patients.Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

What We're Looking For Minimum two years of medical scheduling experience preferred, with surgical or procedure scheduling experience highly desirable.Experience independently managing high-volume schedules and competing priorities.Knowledge of insurance authorizations, medical terminology, and preoperative requirements.Experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, spine care, or ambulatory surgery center operations preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and follow through.
