Position Title: Deputy Manager - Incoming Quality Control

Work Location: Vadodara

Experience: 3-6 yrs

Qualifications: Diploma / B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)


* Responsible for inspection and decision making of raw materials, components, and sub assys, including outsource Inspection.


* Develop and Maintain Quality Plans and ensure inspection records, test reports, and non-conformance reports.


* Lead root cause analysis of nonconformities / defects or failures and ensuring Implementation Corrective Actions to avoid recurrence.


* Coordination with functions like Design, Engineering, Purchase and Suppliers for various developments, activities.


* Support Supplier Quality System / Process Audit and improvement


* Developing gauges for error free inspection and Train quality engineers / inspectors on inspection techniques and standards.


* Work in all 3 shifts of plant operations

Functional Competencies:


* Incoming Quality function experience preferably in electrical / Automobile manufacturing


* Hands on Experience of SAP QM, Minitab, SPC tools, 8D, DOE, MSA.

Six Sigma Certification is preferred.


* Knowledge of xFMEAs, PPAP, APQP, GD&T, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO45001
