Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams, delivering technical support and leadership in the design and implementation of solutions that address business needs.

Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business and serve as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining effective relationships that support customer satisfaction.

Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and contribute to the company's solutions portfolio by sharing technical expertise, proven methodologies, and insights gained from customer engagements.

Help shape technical direction and strategy for both the organization and its customers.

Maintain strong chargeability levels, or provide expense relief for internal teams, while supporting revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Contribute to profitability by identifying and developing new business opportunities and providing technical input for proposal development.

Job Level Definition:

Contributes by applying developed subject-matter expertise to solve routine and occasionally complex technical issues and recommends alternatives when needed.

May serve as a project lead and support junior team members.

Use independent judgment and collaborate with others to determine the best approach for completing work and achieving objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Report daily and work onsite at the customer location.

• Monitors and maintains the health of HPC systems, including compute, network, and storage.

• Troubleshoots and repairs hardware issues.

• Perform daily hardware diagnostics and repairs.

• Creates, tracks, and closes assigned support cases and ensures that all open cases on teams assigned systems are completed to customers satisfaction.

Returns parts in accordance with company policy and customer SLA's.

• Maintains availability reports to track service level agreements (SLAs).

• Maintains the on-call schedule to support 24x7x2/4 coverage year-round.
