Accounts Receivable Specialist

Were looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing healthcare team.

This role will focus on managing outstanding balances, processing payments, resolving account discrepancies, and supporting accurate financial reporting.

What You'll Do Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including payment posting, reconciliations, and collections.Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and billing issues.Maintain accurate financial records and account documentation.Work closely with billing, accounting, and operations teams to resolve outstanding accounts.Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.Communicate with customers, insurance payers, and internal departments regarding account balances and payments.Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and collection efficiency.

What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.Healthcare experience preferred; Home Health or Hospice experience a plus.Experience with payment posting, collections, reconciliations, and aging reports.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
