Job Overview

The Director, IT Financial Management is accountable for defining and leading the IT financial management strategy, governance model, and operating practices across the DePuy Synthes technology portfolio.

The Director will provide enterprise leadership for IT financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, investment governance, cost transparency, vendor financial management, and value realization.

This role will serve as a strategic advisor to the Finance and Procurement organizations representing IT and providing inputs to leaders within these organizations.

The Director will establish the standards, controls, insights, and decision forums required to manage technology investments, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and strategic vendor commitments with transparency and financial discipline.

The Director will also lead the financial management of the IT vendor portfolio, including vendor spend planning, contract commitment visibility, forecast accuracy, commercial-performance analysis, renewal economics, cost optimization, and executive reporting.

The role will drive accountability for financial outcomes across IT portfolios, products, platforms, services, programs, and strategic suppliers.
