Claims Representative

Medical Mutual is seeking an analytical, self-motivated, and confident individual looking for professional growth to join our nationally respected Claims Department.

We are one of the oldest doctor-owned medical professional liability (MPL) insurance companies in the United States and the leading MPL insurer in Maryland.

As a Claims Representative, you will help us fulfill our mission to deliver unrivaled claims defense to our insured physicians and dentists.

You will take ownership of the complex malpractice claims assigned to you and deliver exceptional service to our insureds.

Working directly with insureds, defense attorneys, and our management team, you will assess medical and legal issues, analyze claims exposures, develop and execute proactive defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and prepare claims for trial.

Through this collaboration, you will become a trusted member of the defense team and direct your assigned claims toward appropriate resolutions.
