About the Job:

As an AI Engineer at Independent Bank , you'll be at the forefront of innovation-developing, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge generative AI models, including those from OpenAI, Azure, and VAPI.

You'll partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions that solve complex business challenges, all while upholding the highest standards of performance, accuracy, and security.

What You Will Do:


* Design, develop, and implement generative AI models using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure, and VAPI.


* Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to define AI use cases and integrate AI models into existing systems.


* Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and tuning of AI models to ensure optimal accuracy and performance.


* Preprocess and manage training datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.


* Deploy AI models to production environments and monitor their performance.


* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI model deployment and operation.


* Continuously evaluate the latest advancements in AI and incorporate relevant technologies into the organization's AI strategy.


* Develop and maintain documentation for AI models, including design decisions, implementation processes, and usage guidelines.


* Ensure that all AI solutions adhere to data privacy, security, and responsible AI guidelines.


* Work closely with management to align AI initiatives with business objectives.


* Provide support and training to internal teams on the usage and management of AI models.


* Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:


* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.


* Relevant certifications or coursework in AI/ML are a plus.


* 1+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML projects, with a focus on generative AI models.


* 1+ years of experience with generative AI models, especially those from OpenAI, Azure, and VAPI.
