About the Role

Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team on an on-call basis for the AM shift.

As a CNA, you will provide hands-on care and support to our residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.

You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care in accordance with their care plans.

Responsibilities


* Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents.


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.


* Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility.


* Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing supervisors.


* Respond to call lights and resident requests in a timely manner.


* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.


* Follow individualized care plans and facility policies and procedures.


* Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.


* Protect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications


* Active California CNA certification required.


* Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.


* Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care.


* Strong communication and teamwork skills.


* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


* Flexibility and availability to work on-call AM shifts as needed.
