Summary

The Assistant Director of Engineering is directly responsible for supervising the engineering and grounds teams to maintain the condition of the properties at optimal levels.

This includes executing ongoing and preventative maintenance programs, monitoring expenses, inventorying parts and supplies and ensuring projects are completed in accordance with La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salary Range: 90k-110k annualized


* Responsible for staffing and maintenance of all engineering positions.


* Ensures neatness and cleanliness of the engineering shop and all engineering storage and areas of responsibility.


* Supervises directly all engineering personnel.


* Selects, hires, and trains department personnel.


* Prepares reports, budgets and correspondence.


* Prepares monthly financial critiques along with monthly 90 day rolling forecast.


* Ensures quality control and work standards are maintained and regularly updated to meet changing department and property needs.


* Ensures that compliance is met with all applicable ordinances, regulations and laws (OSHA, ADA, etc.).
