ABOUT YOUR TEAM:

The Consumer Affairs (CA) unit within Banking Supervision and Regulation is responsible for supervising state member banks' compliance with consumer protection regulations and evaluating their performance under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

The unit also serves as a resource for the public, addressing consumer complaints and inquiries related to state member banks.

CA staff deliver supervisory reports to a variety of stakeholders, including bank Boards of Directors, Federal Reserve Board of Governors supervision staff, and other internal supervision teams.

In addition to examination work, CA staff collaborate with other Banking Supervision units — including Community Banking Organizations and Regional Banking Organizations — provide regulatory interpretations, conduct advisory visits, deliver training, and represent the Bank at trade group and community events.
