Position Summary:

The Pediatric GI Motility RN will support the Motility program at St.

Louis Children's Hospital.Motility is the synchronized, wave-like movement of the muscles pushing food through your digestive system.

Motility disorders, or dysmotility, is when the muscles do not function as they should, causing a range of health problems.

Motility disorders can affect any part of the GI tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, large bowel and sphincter.

Motility disorders are commonly associated with a change in the balance of the gut Microbiome such as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).

Our team works with patients to develop a personalized treatment plan that targets the source of the problem.

 

    • At least 2 years of nursing experience
    • Benefits eligible
    • Monday – Friday
    • 40 hours/week; days
    • Schedule:
      • Monday: 0730-1800 (if staying late for long cath placement) or 0645-1715
      • Tuesday: 0545-1615 (if coming in early to start long study) or 0645-1715
      • Wednesday: 0645-1715
      • Thursday: 0645-1715
      • Friday: 0645-1715
