DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Director, Health Care Compliance (HCC) EMEA Regional Lead and Health Care Compliance Officer (HCCO) for Germany, located in Umkirch or in Hamburg, Germany.

The Director, HCC EMEA Regional Lead is responsible for leading and overseeing the Healthcare Compliance strategy and effective execution of the Compliance Program across Central & Eastern Europe, Mid-sized and Trade markets, Russia and other key EMEA markets for DePuy Synthes.

Being EMEA Regional Lead the position owner also serves as the Compliance Officer for Germany, providing end‑to‑end strategic and operational compliance leadership.

This role partners closely with regional and country commercial, medical, and functional leaders to enable ethical business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

This is a highly visible leadership role with broad regional impact, offering the opportunity to shape compliance strategy in a complex and diverse regulatory environment while supporting innovation and patient access across Orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities


* Lead and execute the EMEA Healthcare Compliance strategy in alignment with DePuy Synthes global compliance objectives.



* Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders on complex business initiatives, commercialization strategies, medical affairs activities, and emerging business models in a manner that enables compliant execution.



* Oversee compliance programs related to commercial, medical, and customer engagement activities across EMEA markets.



* Partner with Legal, Medical Affairs, Quality, Finance, and other functions to identify, assess, and manage regional compliance risks.
