Assistant General Counsel - Home Lending Litigation - Vice President

As the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in Home Lending Litigation you will work independently and with outside counsel to represent the Firm in litigation matters, as well as provide advice on a broad range of other matters and issues relating to Chase's residential mortgage lending business.

You will have independent contact with, and support, senior management in the Firm.

Demonstrating litigation skills, as well as sound legal judgment, you will leverage your deep understanding of litigation matters to make informed decisions that deliver positive results to our customers and our business partners.

Job Responsibilities:


* Managing actual and potential litigation matters


* Advising on litigation issues that impact various business functions, including loan origination, servicing and foreclosure


* Managing dispute resolution


* Interpreting existing laws, rules, and regulations and advising on changes thereto


* Advising on advocacy in connection with contemplated and proposed laws, rules, and regulations


* Providing legal advice to the business and functions


* Selecting, engaging, and managing outside counsel for the Firm on all matters in which outside counsel is engaged

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* A minimum of five years of post-admission legal practicing experience
