As a TIG Welder, you'll work with titanium aerospace castings, performing precision weld repairs in an argon-atmosphere chamber.

This is a hands-on position where welding skill, precision, attention to detail, and quality are critical.

Titanium TIG welding experience is required for this position.

What You'll Do
As a TIG Welder, you'll be responsible for repairing titanium castings and helping ensure they meet strict aerospace specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:


* Perform TIG welding on titanium castings inside an argon-atmosphere chamber.


* Repair castings according to established procedures and specifications.


* Use precision tools such as calipers and profile templates to accurately complete repairs.


* Work collaboratively with your team to develop and execute rework plans that bring castings back into specification.


* Use a grinder to shape tungsten electrodes.


* Safely load and unload castings from the welding chamber.


* Maintain welding equipment and your work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition.


* Follow all applicable procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
This is a skilled welding position, and prior titanium TIG welding experience is required.

Qualified candidates will have:


* Completion of a formal vocational welding program or more than one year of TIG welding experience.


* Prior titanium TIG welding experience required.


* Ability to successfully pass a welding test within four weeks of starting employment.


* Ability to pass an annual eye examination.


* Basic high-school level math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.


* Ability to use small, precision tools.
