Job Title: Sustainable Beef Internship Program Intern- Summer 2027Location: North Platte, Nebraska Department: Accounting, Technical Services, Maintenance, HR & Safety & Operations Job Summary: We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented interns to join our Sustainable Beef Summer Internship Program.

This program offers hands-on experience in a beef processing environment and is designed for students interested in building a career in the agriculture and beef production industry.

Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain practical knowledge in their field of study, and contribute to important business and operational functions.

As an intern, you will gain exposure to real-world processes, develop professional skills, and support key departments within the organization.

Internship opportunities are available in Operations, Accounting, Technical Services, and Maintenance.

Key Requirements: • Interest in a career path in the agriculture industry, specifically a processing plant• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes• Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn• Comfortable working with a diverse team across multiple departments• Ability to gather data, complete assigned projects, and document findings accurately• Willingness to follow all food safety, workplace safety, and operational procedures Qualifications: • Working toward a degree in Agriculture, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Meat Science, Food Science, or a related field preferred• Junior, Senior, or Graduate level student preferred• Interest in gaining hands-on experience in beef processing operations or business support functions• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity• Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and quality standards Preferred skills: • Interest or exposure to operations, accounting, technical systems, or maintenance processes• Familiarity with data collection, documentation, and reporting• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Desire to develop leadership skills and build a long-term career in the industry Benefits: Competitive pay.
