Gym Trainer

What is the job?
As a Gym Trainer, you’ll be responsible for delivering professional fitness training and wellness guidance to guests and members.

You’ll ensure safe use of gym equipment, provide personalized workout programs and maintain a motivating and safe fitness environment.
Your day to day
People


* Supervise gym floor activities and assist guests with equipment usage.


* Provide one-on-one personal training sessions as scheduled.


* Demonstrate exercises and ensure proper techniques are followed.


* Maintain professional grooming and fitness appearance standards.


* Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.

Guest Experience


* Conduct fitness assessments and create personalized workout plans.


* Guide guests on exercise routines, strength training and cardio programs.


* Ensure gym facilities are clean, organized and safe at all times.


* Assist guests with inquiries, special requests and fitness goals.


* Provide motivation and encouragement to enhance guest experience.


* Recognize VIP and repeat guest preferences.

Responsible Business


* Ensure all safety procedures and emergency protocols are followed.


* Inspect gym equipment daily and report maintenance issues.


* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of gym equipment and workout areas.


* Promote wellness programs and fitness packages.


* Support sustainability initiatives and proper use of utilities.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

Financial


* Promote personal training sessions and fitness memberships.


* Achieve individual training revenue targets.


* Maintain accurate records of training sessions and billing.


* Minimize equipment damage through proper supervision.
