Purpose: This role serves as the central owner of the Preclinical Sciences and Translational Safety (PSTS) function's outsourcing operating model, translating PSTS outsourcing strategies into consistent execution, governance, and performance management across the organization.

The position is accountable for establishing a unified approach to vendor management, financial oversight, capacity planning, and operational excellence at the PSTS level, ensuring external partnerships deliver against business objectives.

While PSTS functional teams retain accountability for defining, assessing, and advancing the scientific and technical capabilities of external partners, this role provides the cross-functional governance, and operational discipline required to maximize the value, scalability, and reliability of PSTS's outsourced portfolio.

You will be responsible for:



* Operationalising PSTS outsourcing strategy through day to day vendor governance, performance monitoring, and issue escalation.


* Ensuring external partners deliver against quality, timeline, capacity, and cost expectations.


* Supporting make vs buy and capacity decisions with data, scenarios, and execution insights.


* Acting as a trusted execution partner to PSTS functional leaders and governance forums.
